Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the project The study of barriers
to professional development in the formation of "soft skills" at various stages of a university teacher's
career through digital resources (Grant Number AP19678780, 2023-2025).
The monograph examines theoretical foundations, detailing the distinction between soft and hard
skills, exploring historical and psychological frameworks, and underscoring the rising significance of
interpersonal competencies in global higher education; tactical and strategic approaches, examining how
universities can embed these competencies, from active learning methodologies to digital tools for skill
tracking.
