Bettina Selby began writing and travelling when three children grew up and left home. She previously served in the WRAC followed by a successfull career in freelance photography. She also taught for seven years in inner city schools.
As a mature student she attended London University where she obtained an honours degree in comparative religious. This enabled her to give this authorative and perceptive account of her journey by bicycle to Jerusalem. The book also contains her pictures.
