A Spiritual Classic The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ provides a philosophic and practical basis for the religion of the Aquarian Age and of the universal church. Levi H. Dowling (1844-1911), originally published this book under the sole name of Levi. He was a Church of Christ pastor, a Civil War chaplain for the Union Army, and a New Thought lecturer of his time. Levi maintained he had transcribed the text of the book from the Akashic records. Originally written in 1908, Levi's book reconstructs the controversial twenty year gap in the traditional Christian version of Jesus' biography. It is a time spent seeking out the esoteric skills of self-transformation from the Grand Masters before tearing down the divisions of class and caste to liberate the masses.
