This book is devoted to the Late Chalcolithic (4th millennium BC) and Early Bronze Age (3rd
millennium BC) in Central Anatolia. The present volume is an introduction and consists of two
parts. The first part gives an overview of the history of research and chronological concepts. The
second part covers the most important sites (at present more than 90), their characteristics, and
stratigraphies. This book is the first of a series of comprehensive studies on the Late Chalcolithic
and Early Bronze Age of Central Anatolia.
