Günsel Ülkü is an award-winning businesswoman, fashion designer, and travel writer. She graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Business Administration, double majoring in Marketing and Finance. She studied German at the University of Vienna and French at the University of Sorbonne in Paris. She began her career in the pharmaceutical industry at Novartis in Germany. After working several years as a Senior Executive in Turkey, she was promoted to company's Headquarters in Switzerland as the Head of immunology and oncology Business Unit for the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa regions, overseeing 35 countries. She then transferred to Merck Turkey as the General Manager. After serving as the founding General Manager of the company in Turkey, she was appointed as the Director for the South and Eastern Europe region, overseeing 11 European countries.She has had a passion fo
