This book systematically treats the tumours of bones and soft tissues. An expert in the fields of pathology and orthopaedic surgery, Professor Campanacci describes these tumours in terms of the pathological, clinical, radiographic, and therapeutic points of view. The introductory chapter deals with the classification, frequency, diagnostic tools, biopsies, and therapeutic strategies for these tumours. Following the histological classification, the author describes the primary, secondary, and metastatic tumours, and pseudotumoral lesions in detail. "Bone and Soft Tissue Tumours" stems from both Professor Campanacci's 30 years of experience and from the clinical records of 15,000 studied and verified cases of the Instituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, the largest orthopaedic clinic in Italy.
