A Tale of Two Continents…
Since 1974, it has been my fortune to have lived upon both sides of the Bosphorus strait framed by the magnificently charming and ancient city of Istanbul. In all of the world, this most beautiful strait of water captured my heart and soul as far back as I can remember as a little boy. It was like she rocked me to sleep upon the Bosphorus as I drifted into slumber, unable to resist the sound of her hypnotic lullaby.
Ever since, I have unabashedly declared this undying love through books, TV programs, as well as newspaper and magazine articles too numerous to count. Since 1984, I have enjoyed the pleasure of conducting thousands of tours attended by more than 100,000 people. I have always fondly spoken of both continents - Asia and Europe - as we leisurely sailed through the aquamarine waters of the Bosphorus.
For me, living in this city is a true blessing from God. Talking about, writing about, exploring and loving Istanbul are my life’s endless passion.
