El Willy, Three Years in China is a book that narrates the adventures of Spanish chef Willy Trullás since his arrival to Shanghai until he became a celebrity in the citys restaurant scene.
The project started with Id like to have a cook book and from there, we interviewed Willy, created the contents, compiled and selected all the historical images, managed the photo shootings and designed the book. The result is a reflection of Willys funky universe and a story of success in China, together with some of his most beloved recipes.
Juli de No created the crazy collages and Tristan Chapuis shot the cover portraits and the dishes.
