A magnificent catalogue accompanying an exhibition of Ottoman art held at the Musee d'art et d'histoire, Geneva in 1995. It included examples of the ceramics and textiles which reached a peak of excellence in terms of design and technique in the 16th century, as well as calligraphy and the arts of the book whose primacy is reflected in the Kur'ans. Richly illustrated volume of silver, glass, pottery, carpets, manuscripts and paintings held in the Khalili collection, with a political outline of the Ottomans, their empire and sultans.
