This book is proceedings of the 16th Annual Conference of the Global Communication Association titled 'The Future(s) of Communication: Promises and Predicaments,' that was hosted by Marmara University Faculty of Communication in May 15-17, 2024. GCA, established in 2007, serves as a non-profit organization facilitating interaction among esteemed academics, corporate executives, communication experts and policymakers worldwide through conferences and academic journals, fostering the generation of new ideas and enabling free debate. The conference has seen participation from fifteen countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, Kenya, Iran, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, India, Morocco, Qatar, the Philippines, Finland, Saudi Arabia, Norway, and our country.
