This is my second meeting of that kind with American readers. My first book bearing the same title came out in 1975. The use of an old title for a new book is not due to the author’s inertia or the publisher’s oversight. For a number of years now I have conducted a special Saturday program called “How It Looks from Moscow” in which I discuss current international affairs for the North American Service of Radio Moscow. This book, like the previous one, is based on my Saturday radio talks.
They started five years ago and in this time I have covered a wide range of subjects. But the curious thing is that not a single US newspaper or radio station throughout these years has had anything to say about my comments. Perhaps there is no market for it in the United States?
But if so, why do the US media so often find it necessary to comment on my talks on Soviet television and radio (Home Service) and on my newspaper articles, in which I discuss the very same problems as I do in the progra
