INTRODUCTION The Quran is the Protected Word of Allah. It is protected by Allah Himself from any possibility of change, error or contradictions. It is His Word as it has no input besides His own. For Muslims it is the Basis of Islam itself, as the fundamental teachings of the din stem from this Divine source. The last Juz (or Para - section) is a collection of the shortest chapters of the Quran. While these chapters may be short in length, the depth of their verses and the forcefulness and power of their messages give this section a significance of its own. These short chapters can be very easily learnt by people who can read Arabic as well as those who cannot. An obvious advantage of committing even a few of these to heart is that one has a portion of the Quran to recite in Salah, the second pillar and primary Fard act for Muslims.
