First hardcover edition, with dust jacket, published by Greenwillow Books, 1984. A collection of short poems by Prelutsky, with illustrations by Stevenson. Topics include; owls, cows, beets, super-goopy glue, and yubbazibbies! 160 pages, 7-1/2" X 9-1/4". Sturdy light green colored boards, with wheat colored cloth covered spine. Cover boards are flat, the corners are not bumped, no edge wear. The dust jacket is intact,and has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Jacket has been price clipped though, at the top corner of the front flap. Jacket also has a closed tear at the bottom edge of the front panel , about 1/2 long, just below the author s name. Former owner's embossed stamp mark to the top corner of the first flyleaf - a circular impression mark about 1-1/2" across. No further former ownership marks besides that, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are clean. Binding is tight and square. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard copy.
